Ellen is a stand-up comedian and is best known for her self titled talk show, which she's hosted since 2003.
Before that, she starred in popular sitcom, and has also made a name for herself in films.
She's the perfect choice for this role, having hosted the Oscars last year, and previously hosted the Grammy Awards and the Primetime Emmys.
