5月17日，一位网名为WANIMAL的新浪微博用户发布了一组在故宫博物院内拍摄的不雅照，在网上引发热议。
A group of photos of a naked model taken in the Forbidden City posted by a Sina Weibo user named "WANIMAL" on May 17 have generated a lot of heat over the Internet.
故宫博物院6月1日发布声明指出，拍摄者拍摄不雅照之前并未通知故宫博物院，工作人员在事发时曾试图制止其拍摄。
The Forbidden City issued a statement on Monday saying that the photographer did not inform them prior to the shooting and the staff had tried to stop the shoot.
故宫方面同时表示，坐在文物建筑上拍照，不仅违反社会伦理道德，更是对文化遗产的不尊重，应当受到全社会的谴责。
It added that sitting on the cultural relics does not only breach ethical and moral boundaries, it also shows disrespect to the relics and should be condemned by the society.
