Students flock to consultants
Consulting agencies dealing with college application are seeing more consultants this year as Beijing's test takers begin to fill out application forms after knowing their scores for the first year.
Though consulting fees range from several thousand to tens of thousand yuan, many parents are willing to pay for the sake of their children.
The agencies provide services like online vocational assessment before the National College Entrance Exam, simulated application and admission follow-up.
Every agency has its own self-developed software. It's said that the software, which contain college admission data in the last five years, can choose suitable colleges according to a student's ranking and simulation test scores.
